Pretty Ballet Flats

I’m a huge fan of ballet flats for spring and summer.  And for fall and winter as a cuter alternative to slippers.  They’re comfy and easy going, more polished than flip flops but just as easy to slip on and off.  They’re at home on city sidewalks and alpine wildflower meadows.  The right pair makes your jeans or shorts more polished and a skirt and jacket more casual.  Just like the peas in my garden it’s a little early to know what this spring’s crop will really be, but I’ve already spotted a few pairs I love.

If you live near a Superstore the Joe Fresh line has some adorable ones for under $20 in bright spring greens and yellows.  They’re not online, though, so you’ll have to brave the crowds.  Their entire spring collection is pretty cute, though, so it’s worth a trip.
